Every purchase of a brand new Mi-Cycle One™ designed and assembled Dutch commuter bicycle will also provide a free bike to a Detroiter in need of transportation for work, exercise, or transportation. The unisex step-through frame of the Mi-Cycle One™ allows people of all shapes and sizes to comfortably mount and dismount. The ride is upright and comfortable, and it is equipped with front and rear lights. There is also a heavy-duty front basket that is ideal for light grocery shopping or a nice picnic under your favorite tree.The cost of a Mi-Cycle One™ includes funding for the purchase of bicycle parts to refurbish old bikes and help Mi-Cycle on its mission of creating meaningful employment while providing transportation alternatives to residents in need. Donors are welcome to schedule a visit to the bicycle shop at the Marygrove Conservancy by emailing chuck@saydetroit.org. Delivery not guaranteed before Christmas.
